Final Blog

I have read Monster by: Walter Dean Myers, Crackback by: John Coy, and White Fang by: Jack London. This reading experience has been really helpful and kind of hard reading books when you have other classes. It was a hard experience and even though I didn't finish the 'White Fang' by: Jack London I thought this class was very helpful having to take a college experience into hands. The book Monster was very good starring Steve Harmon and Crackback was also good with Miles Manning taking his team to the high school championship impressing his dad, friends, and coaches on and off the field. My reading experience has changed a lot during this class because before I got into this class I never read a lot and now I read often in times that I'm bored. I really appreciate this class being very helpful in a college experience.

Monster (Part 4)

Almost at the end and this book is very interesting. Steve is now on trial for the robbery involving a murder. When Steve is going up on trail he gets tips from his lawyer on answering questions. They play a game before the trial because one the attorneys are running late. The game was played by Steve lawyer and she said, “Where going to play a game about questioning; Now I want you to answer some questions. When I put the cup facing up that means you have given me a good answer, and when I put the cup facing down you have failed to answer the question. Ok”. Steve Harmon is now up for questioning, but is this the big moment in the book. As Steve gets up and goes to the gate right next to the judge he is shaking and very nervous. Can he do it, can he prevail that he is not guilty of murdering the guy in the store and only watched for cops because he had to. You find out in part five of the Monster by: Walter Dean Myers.

Monster (Part 3)

Now Steve gets to see his parents and his little brother named Jerry. King is now a suspect of the robbery as Mrs. Henry stated him at as she was questioned on the trial and scared to death when she was part of the scene. Now Mrs. Henry is being questioned when she was one of the victim’s of this robbery. Mrs. Henry said she had to pick some medicine for her daughter because she was not feeling too well. When she was in the middle of the robbery she got scared and ran out the store when she had a chance. When she is done getting questioned King’s cousin is up next for questioning about the robbery and about King.

Monster (Part 2)

After the first 100 pages the book Monster seems very interesting, as it’s getting into the action. Many people who were involved here now getting question at court along with King and Steve .When Steve Harmon was about to get questioned he had a flashback of him and his friend on the park sitting and talking. While they were sitting Steve’s friend accidently hit him with a baseball and the man came over and punched Steve’s friend when Steve told him to run. So then Steve is now getting questioned and he says in his head he is a not guilty and should not be in this situation. After Steve’s done he talk to his lawyer Petrocolli and then the next day comes up and he is about the go to the trial room where King is now being questioned.
